Obamas Budget Head Would Cut Social Security
Tuesday, Obama Peter Orszag chosen to direct the Office Of Management And Budget (OMB). He sets out his views in a paper he wrote with Peter A. Diamond for the Brookings Institute in 2005, called Saving Social Security: The diamond Orsz g Plan. Orsz g believes that the social security benefits should be cut again to help balance Social Security Trust Fund for the next 75 years. In it, they call for a reduction of benefits that would apply to all workers age 59 and younger. Barack Obamas choice to head the budget office is on record favoring a reduction in benefits Social Security. The younger you are, the more youll get hurt.
